The box-type online degassing unit sits between furnace and casting station, stripping hydrogen and oxide inclusions from the melt before it reaches the mould. High-purity inert gas (99.996%+) is dispersed through a rotating rotor, forming fine bubbles that capture hydrogen and inclusions and carry them to the surface.
The box-type online degassing equipment is housed in a closed box. During the floating process, bubbles capture hydrogen and oxide inclusions in the aluminium melt and bring them to the surface — reducing hydrogen content, removing oxide slag and impurities such as alkali metals, and achieving online degassing and refining. Under strict process conditions, degassing efficiency exceeds 60%.
