Ceramic foam filter board is an economical and convenient way to remove inclusions from aluminium — widely used in filtering liquid aluminium. Available from 7″ to 26″, with through-hole sizes from 20 to 60 PPI. Supplied with 8mm aluminium silicate gasket, used as a seal between the filter plate and the filter box contact surface to prevent aluminium liquid side-flow.

Alumina foam ceramic filter plate specially developed for purifying molten aluminium. Liquid aluminium flows through the zigzag, repeated, porous three-dimensional foam structure — tiny impurities are intercepted, adsorbed, and deposited, adhering firmly to the pore walls. Efficiently filters micron-level impurities to solve aluminium alloy sensitivity to internal defects. Refractory wool and intumescent wool wraps available.
